The streets are paved a linoleum white, no turning grey in this city when it's packed so tight. But do you feel that? Fluorescent skies, no candle light. We burnt a hole in the soul of a starry night, but do you feel that? I said can you feel that? This choked up life is getting harder to breathe. Just keep on moving folks there's nothing to see. Someone clean up this mess! It's not my responsibility. But do you feel that. I said can you feel that?! [Chorus] You don't want to know my name because you don't really want to feel my pain, but do you feel that, can you feel that? Cold blood running through you're veins. You don't want to know my name because you don't really want to feel my pain but do you feel that? Can you feel that? That's guilt running through your veins. Soft spoken in a hard knock life, a doe eyed dreamer bored and drifting through all this dreamless strife. Boxed in and mauled by these walls painted sex and gold, push through the crowds who try to buy back that heart they sold. You know that emptiness can't be filled with a hundred dollar bill but still you spend it knowing you'll regret it when the credit's all that's left to your name. And there's no one to blame but yourself and for how you were raised to think that money should be awed at and praised. And if the earth it moves, then why are we standing still? Because if the earth it moves, and you know it do, then we ain't got no time to stand around and wait to make up our minds.

We rode into the night with our minds aflame to the end of the world where we forgot our names, then we sat and passed the flame. Staring in to the sky we were kings and queens ruling none but ourselves you stared back at me as the memory of a star. Then we rode out laughing. Possibilities endless. Pull me in to the moonlit night. We were friends and lovers, sisters and brothers. Pull me in to this burning life. [Chorus] Pull me out of my world in to this burning life, grab my boredom and run but keep this feeling inside. Because it's a burning world full of fiery souls, blue flames in the night wrapped in metal and coal. The road is our home. New blood, new eyes, a friend in disguise. He's a stranger now but we know somehow that he'll work out just fine. Floating lights in time on a calm black sea, no division in sight we were all set free. This is something ancient.

Poison 04:26
When you took the floor I walked out the door because you're not the friend I've been looking for and this beating heart won't hear a word of a lie. But the truth is out and I can't believe the people's doubt when it's all I can see. And this beating heart won't ever loose it's fight. [Chorus] Just give me something to believe in. Something I can breath in, there's too much poison in my lungs. Just give me something, a home that I can live in. Some goddamn food for my children, there's too much poison in my lungs. Cutting trees, disappearing bees. We're flying off our seats with these miracle beats flowing from Revenge of the Trees. We'll never stand back or be silent we're always defiant, always standing up for the David vs Goliath. What's the difference between me and you, through and through I'm just Joe Shmoe rappin' the flow can't help but seeing through these politicians just fishin to strengthen up their positions. Their broken eyes and lies I despise, just give me something now. You've got to abuse this system and use this system. They can't get stronger than us. It's not that I don't feel nothing I just need something to fill this hole in my heart.

Workin' 03:30
So what's the story and who's to blame? I ain't got no money. I work seventeen days a week. No money, still got no money. This ain't the life I choose I was born in to this pair of steel toe boots. And I'm working my life away. Yes I'm working my life away. My daddy used to say to me "Son, I make money, I don't let money make me." Yet he worked to his dying day. Out of the womb and in to this world, if you ain't got no money then sorry mamma, hunny, you ain't gonna feed that kid tonight. He'll be working his life away.

You're in a broken car You're on a crashing plane The world is falling apart and we all look the same. While the oceans are rising, flooding into the night You know we're falling around around digging our circles out in to the night. I can't help feeling like there's something better than this I can't help feeling like there's something missing You are the distant lights along the crashing shores. Burning holes in the sky too bright to be ignored. And while the oceans keep rising, flooding into the night You know we're falling around around, digging our circles out in to the night.
