Fortress Hotel

Lay your head upon my pillow now and I'll share with you what I've always known was never mine. It's my father's and his wicked kind. But you'll have to hide under the bed, the papers with your frozen head lack the dollar signs they're looking for. But I know that your life is worth much more. So who's in charge of this fortress hotel? And who’s been using me to sell this democratic lie to history? A history of genocide, a history of wicked lies, from coast to coast built on the back of slavery. Why is it illegal for me to live in peace? No one is illegal and everyone is free. Stop riding on the back of that crooked crown. You know it's driving us into the ground. Roll over, give me one good shoulder. I know you’ve got it so stop rolling over me. Because who's gonna pick your fruit and make your food now? Who's gonna drive your taxi all around town? Who's gonna be your doctor, your lawyer, your young mislead soldier, your mother your father, your sister and your brother? They're raising your children and paying your pensions. No one is illegal. Stop deporting people now.

If You're a Man

If you’re a man who can’t understand what it means to show how you feel, do the world a favor now and know you can’t save her now, if what’s in your heart is what you conceal. And I know it’s not easy to let yourself cry, when you’ve been told it’s better to just lay down and die. But don’t that sound crazy to you? Is that what it means to be a man? And i know it ain’t easy to just let yourself cry, when you’ve gone your whole life protected by your pride. And it’s so sad, that you think that. So bottle it up as you will but know you can only fill it so much until you explode. Because it’s not enough to just think about what you want to do. It’s such a heavy load. And i know it ain’t easy to just let yourself cry, when you’ve been told it’s better to just lay down and die. But don’t that sound crazy to you? Is that what it means to be a man?

Revenge of the Trees

Well who's to say who is right or wrong these days? When "This world is fucked!" seems like such a common phrase. Let's dig for gold, let's dig for something new. Let's bury our souls for a new pair of shoes.
And good luck trying to find a piece of this earth that someone hasn't already stamped with a worth.
Out of sight, out of mind
We're out of touch and out of time
So buy, sell, trade, kill, just give me the money, so I can fill my fat cheeks with more honey. I douse My sorrows in gasoline. The more we burn the more we need.
And good luck trying to find a piece of this earth that someone hasn't already stamped with a worth.
Out of sight, out of mind
We're out of touch and out of time
Mother Earth's getting pissed
And we're not getting away with this
So go on, tear me down, I'm only what you're standing on
And I'm not afraid to knock you off.
